This Addition Game &/or Subtraction Game is a great Four in a Row Game for Early Math Concepts. An excellent Math Center game for the younglings :-).

This Addition Game &/or Subtraction Game is a great Four in a Row Game for Early Math Concepts. An excellent Math Center game for the younglings :-)

Game in a Nutshell:

Two players throw two dice, add the numbers thrown together and cover the given number on the game board.

Included in this Download: 

3 A4 Game Boards
1 Set of Rules
1 Set of Teaching Notes 

What You Need: 

2 Players
1 Game Board
17 Counters of different colors for each player

Deciding Who Goes First:

Person with the shortest little finger goes first.

How to Play:

1. Player One throws the dice and adds the numbers shown e.g. if 6 & 6 is thrown then this means 6+6=12, so their counter is placed over a 12.
2. Player 2 then repeats step one.
3. Play continues turn about until one player gets four of their counters in a row either horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

How to Win:

The first player to get four counters in a row is declared the winner.
